We documented the making of the Saraswati Veena in Thanjavur.
We travelled to Thanjavur, a town 350 km south of Chennai, and stayed with the traditional cottage industry craftsmen for 8 days.
Our deliverable was a detailed book on the making of the veena, its social influence and design thinking in improving and increasing sustainability of the endangered industry.
